HUMAN POWERED DAY 2016: OPERATION GRATITUDE
Centerline Solutions held its annual day of volunteering on September 16 to build care packages for active-duty military personnel through a collaboration with Operation Gratitude. Employees in seven states—Colorado, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, New York and Florida—participated in a day-long project to assemble packages that provide recipients with personal product essentials that are difficult to obtain on deployment. Care kit items are intended to give service members a little piece of home no matter where they are in the world and show that they are not forgotten by those they protect.
The Colorado Wireless Association (COWA) hosted a successful golf tournament on Thursday, July 21 in Castle Pines, Colorado. Proceeds raised will be donated to the Tower Family Foundation, a 501c-3 non-profit organization that provides financial assistance and scholarships to family members of a severely injured, permanently disabled, or deceased tower worker injured or killed in an accident stemming from working at heights on communication structures or other on-the-job related activities that tower workers are involved in on a daily basis.
