John Keating, EVP Market Operations
John manages all of Centerline Solutions’ regional teams and the services they deliver. His portfolio in these regions encompasses: RF engineering, A&E drafting, site acquisition, field technical services, and network maintenance. In his current position, John meets with clients to map out the work and resources needed to deploy a wireless network, including staffing needs, project costs, and timelines. He ensures the network is completed as promised, and that it adheres to all FCC regulations.
John has been with Centerline since 2005, when it was ATECS, a Colorado-based provider of wireless engineering and business consulting services to the telecommunications and data networking industries. With more than 20 years of experience in the wireless industry, he knows the ins and outs of managing all aspects of building and operating wireless networks.
Prior to joining Centerline, John managed the deployment, engineering and operation of Qwest Wireless’ networks in the Rocky Mountain region, which at the time consisted of more than 800 towers. He later served as Director of Qwest’s Wireless Network Operations Center, supporting all of the company’s wireless markets. John also worked with Mindbank Consulting Group, serving as a senior wireless engineer and project manager for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service land mobile radio projects across the country.
John holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado.
When not in the field, John loves to cycle and ski. Married with a daughter, he also enjoys hanging out with his family, especially his twin grandsons.
